Painting with colleagues has played an important part in Jean Claude's life. He began painting with Gerry Squires and George Horan in Newfoundland in the 1970's, and after he returned to France in 1982, the relationship continued. Above, they relax in his garden in France during a visit in 1986, and later became the subjects of a painting. Below, a reunion in 2006 in the same spot, same garden chairs, same beret, still painting together after all these years. |
